Degrees of Comparison
Oval: 1. Positive Deegreeare used when we compare  one person or one thing with another.
There are three Degrees of Comparison in English 
They are:

Oval: 3. Superlative Degree 



1.      POSITIVE DEGREE
Text Box: To be + as + adjective + asWhen we want to compare the adjective, we have degree of comparison when the quality of two or more adjective are the same.


When we speak about only one person or thing, We use the Positive degree.
Example :
-  Tina is as clever as his mother
 - Tini is as diligent as muthia.
 - You are as tall as my sister.







2.  Comparative degree

When we compare two persons or two things with each other,
We use both the Positive degree and Comparative degree.

Examples:

Text Box: a. This house is bigger than that one 
b. Milla sader because her book be lost
c. Kalimantan island is large in the world 
 










3.    Superlative Degree

When the quality of three adjectives

Example :

Text Box: a. Muthia’s bag is the cheappst of all 
b. Supartina’s house is the biggest in indonesia 
c. Tina’s car is the dirtiest
